“Building Bridges of Hope”
Return to Vaugirard 2025 (RTV26) was more than just a six-day event—it was a transformative journey of faith, mission, and solidarity that brought together Lasallians from all over the country. Anchored in the Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion in mission, RTV26 served as a sacred space for reflection, action, and meaningful encounter, especially with those living in the peripheries of our society.
Participants, representing a diverse spectrum of Lasallian communities—students, educators, alumni, Brothers, and lay partners—gathered with a shared commitment: to live out the Lasallian call of making God’s love visible through concrete acts of service. Through immersive community experiences, deep conversations, and collaborative projects, RTV26 inspired a renewed sense of purpose and collective responsibility. Each day was a tapestry woven with prayers, workshops, outreach activities, and storytelling moments that resonated deeply with everyone present.
One of the defining aspects of RTV26 was its focus on co-creation—on working hand-in-hand with the marginalized to build sustainable and compassionate communities. It was not just about helping others, but walking alongside them, listening, learning, and building authentic relationships rooted in respect and dignity.
The experience also highlighted the incredible dedication of Lasallians who live out their mission both in profession and in service. Among them was one of ICC-LSU’s AAI Executive Officers, a Registered Nurse who wholeheartedly volunteered throughout the event. Ms. Ching, like that of many others, reminded us that true leadership is found in humility and compassion—hallmarks of what it means to be Lasallian.
RTV26 renewed our collective spirit and challenged each of us to bring the mission home—not only as a memory but as a daily commitment to act with love, to uplift the excluded, and to be bearers of hope in our respective communities.
As we return to our campuses, ministries, and homes, we carry with us not just stories and new friendships, but a deeper resolve: to continue building bridges of hope, one act of solidarity at a time.
